Price & Times for St Ives therapy room

Massage Therapy Sessions

Each massage is tailored to your individual needs on the day.

We will have a
consultation, where we can chat and discuss what brings you, areas you might like to focus on, preferences, and medical history to establish what's best and adapt anything to suit you.

I incorporate a range of mostly classic massage or soft tissue techniques, gentle movement, or mobilization. Most importantly, I try to work with care and sensitivity, working mindfully with the nervous system, as I believe this provides the most benefits.

Sessions are based in a home therapy room. I also provide mobile appointments, events, and on-site / office massage, pregnancy massage.

If you need any advice, more info, or have questions at all, please feel free to get in contact.  You can also read - Questions you may have below.

Questions you may have...

Will certain medical conditions stop you from having a massage?

Not really, It's very rare that massage therapy of some kind could not be offered due to medical reasons; even then, I may just advise delaying for a later date so you get the most out of it. However, it's important that I'm aware of your medical condition /history so I can take care, be most effective, and adapt things to suit you.

What clothing do I wear?

Generally, for massage, you remove clothes down to underwear or comfortable shorts, I will leave the room for you to do so and get under the sheets. You can be fully clothed if you feel more comfortable; it just restricts some techniques.

I use a light water-dispersible oil gel to minimise staining on sheets & clothes, which is also quite soft and hydrating for the skin.

How can massage benefit me? How does it work?
